Dynamic Flash website

Create a stunning Flash website in only a few minutes. All you have to do is enter your text in 'content.xml' and off you go!
Let's first have a feature overview:
- All text is completely dynamic:
- The music that is to be played is being entered in an XML-file (just enter the music filenames.) The music playlist will automatically be filled with the songs
- The text in the buttons and the windows will automatically be filled in according to what has been entered in the XML-file (title and content)
- The amount, the position and the size of the buttons and windows will automatically be calculated, no need to worry about that
- Is the text too big for the window? The scrolling arrow will light up and the text can be scrolled either by scrolling your mouse, or moving your mouse over the lit arrows. If there can't be scrollet any further, the arrows will be unlit.
- The website is fully interactive. This makes sure that visitors spend extra time on your website because they are intrigued by what is being serverd.
- The windows can be opened and closed (opened by clicking the button, closed by pressing the X)
- The windows can be moved by clicking and dragging the title bar (just like any other desktop program)
- The window can - when they've been reduced or enlarged - be brought back to a fitting size by clicking the 'window' (next to the X)
- Windows can be reduced en enlarged by clicking and dragging the arrow in the bottom right corner of the window
- The windows can be brought up to the front by either clicking a visible part of the window, or clicking it's button
- All of this is completely foolproof, so that a visitor can not suddenly make his window disappear to find out he's not able to bring it back
- You can add music to your website to create the desired atmosphere! The link the the music file has to be entered in the XML file, and the rest sorts itself out:
- Play/Stop, Previous and Next buttons work correctly, no matter how many music-files
- The artist and titel of the song are being read from the file and are shown (bottom left)
- A numbered list is automatically being generated next to the control buttons, according the the amount of songs that are listed in the XML file. Move your mouse over a number the get the artist and title of that song. Click the number to start playing that song.
How to use this:
- Download the zip-file
- Open 'content.xml' and have a look at how to add your content instead of the default demo-content.
- If you know XML, this will be a walk in the park
- If you don't know XML, don't worry it's very easy. Just open up the demo and compare that to the 'content.xml'-file
- Remove the mp3's and susbtitute them with the music you want (if any) and don't forget to also change the music filenames in 'content.xml'
- Upload the entire package to your webhost
The source .fla can also be obtained by contacting me. I will not give out the source to just anyone, so be sure to accurately describe your intetions with it and I'll gladly send it over.
See it in action! (PS: the background music is not my cup of tea, I just needed some royalty-free music for demonstrational purpose only)
